We’re excited to welcome Omaha’s Okra African Grill to the team! Known for their heartfelt, slow-cooked African meals, they bring authentic flavors and a warm sense of community to every dish.

Okra African Grill grew from a long-standing passion of Nina Sodji, a West African Togo native who initially worked as a nurse in the United States. With a strong desire to follow her heart, Sogji began her career by attending culinary school at Metropolitan Community College (MCC) while raising two children.

At MCC, Sodji discovered the connections between Togo dishes and flavors from France, Spain, Germany, India, and neighboring African countries. Sodji’s vision is Okra African Grill, which serves as an homage to all African cultures, including the transcontinental history that influenced her nation’s foods.

We’re honored to welcome Okra African Grill to the Lozafina family and look forward to working closely with them on their brand awareness needs. Stay tuned for our upcoming projects!
