Father, Daughter Duo’s Enterprise Supplies Charities with Essential Products
Story by Xitlally Velasco
Violet's Convenience Store is no ordinary one-stop shop. Violet Collins has made it her mission to deliver necessities to homes, hospitals, and charitable organizations to cast love across the community.
This remarkable establishment, run by Violet, her father Tim, her mother Taisha, and her brother Santana, has identified that charitable organizations often face challenges in providing essential items to those they serve. At the same time, individuals who want to help sometimes feel unsure about how to make a meaningful contribution. Violet’s Convenience Store is stepping in to bridge that gap.
They’ve partnered with the Siena Francis House, Stephen Center, Heartland Family Services, Children’s Hospital, and Carole’s House of Hope, which all provide shelter and support to men, women, and children facing challenging life stages. Rebuilding after trauma is no small task, but Violet’s Convenience Store believes in empowering individuals on their path to healing, helping them reconnect with their goals, aspirations, and dreams.
